Cantarus to Deliver Mobile App Strategy for Royal College of General Practitioners

1st September 2019 • A Press Release by Tabby Duff.

Cantarus will deliver the ‘Membership in your Pocket’ program for leading primary healthcare organisation, the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP). The project will be designed to increase and drive engagement with over 50,000 Royal College members.

The project will unify the Royal College’s extensive member offering into one, easy-to-use mobile app. Powered by Cantarus’ mobile app platform for membership, MemConnect, the app will be built at a fraction of the cost traditionally associated with producing world-class apps.

Simon Bowen, Executive Director of Membership and International at RCGP, comments:

“At RCGP, building impactful engagement with our membership is critical. It’s one of our key strategic objectives contributing towards our vision; Great Doctors, Great Care. Our Membership in your Pocket program is ambitious – to make it simple to access and engage with RCGP whilst also providing valuable insights to inform development of personalised, one-to-one member support.

After reviewing the market, we chose Cantarus’ best-in-class MemConnect app platform to deliver the program. Its combination of near-total customisability, ability to integrate with our sizable back-office infrastructure, short time to MVP and low, predictable costs, made a compelling proposition, particularly when combined with Cantarus’ track record in the membership sector and an excellent cultural fit between our teams.”

Lee Adams, CEO & Co-Founder of Cantarus, said:

“We’re absolutely delighted to welcome RCGP as a client. RCGP is undoubtedly one of the most high-profile, respected brands to select MemConnect. Their involvement is a clear signpost to the growing importance of the MemConnect platform. Working with organisations like RCGP is the very definition of being a leading digital agency, particularly in the membership sector. We look forward to delivering a revolutionary mobile engagement experience for their members.”
